Initial Nutrition Assessment
The initial appointment is a 60-minute nutrition assessment dedicated to learning more about you and your goals. We will explore your medical history and diet history including food preferences, food allergies, typical meals and snacks, meal planning, favorite restaurants, grocery shopping, and more. We will discuss your previous dieting experiences and the feelings and thoughts surrounding diet culture. We may also discuss other health habits such as exercise, stress management, and sleep if time allows. Ultimately, we will begin your journey of becoming a confident and intuitive eater!
Follow up appointments
Follow up appointments will be 30-45 minutes and will vary as our work together is completely individualized. We will continue to work through the principles of intuitive eating, and improving your overall relationship with food, body, and movement, reflecting on successes and challenges since your previous appointment, while ensuring adequate nourishment for your mind and body.
